Canada Mortgage and
Housing Corporation
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) has released the Housing Design Catalogue as part of Canada's Housing Plan. The catalogue includes 50 standardized housing designs for various housing types including accessory dwelling units, rowhouses, fourplexes, and sixplexes, tailored to each province in Canada.
The designs aim to promote gentle density and infill development across the country, focusing on adaptability, accessibility, energy efficiency, and compliance with local regulations. The designs are intended for general information and illustration only and are not suitable for obtaining any building permits and approvals.
